The committee will need to demonstrate the true build cost end to end has been independently verified by a Quantity Surveyor. Trustees should formally propose this to members.

The trustees and members of the committee are aware of the need for transparency. Procedures will be in place to ensure that conflicts of interest are identified and overall the community receives value for money.

A number of professionals are advising Samaj in respect of the build and their assistance will be sought on an ongoing basis to ensure that we adopt best practice and obtain best value for money on behalf of our members.
